Tesla will finally show the next-generation Roadster on October 15, after nine years and seven unveil dates. In my opinion, an event that waits for perfect weather says the car is not ready, and I would not pay a single cent in advance.
Apple's new Apple TV 4K has an A19 chip, Siri AI and microphones, but costs $299, up from $129 in 2022. In my opinion, a cheaper stick or smart TV does the same job, and I stay on my old Apple TV.
Apple HomeView costs $299, has no App Store, plays video only from your iPhone, and needs a paired iPhone for Siri AI. I waited for a real smart home hub and got a big watch with a speaker.
One week soft demand, the next week no crisis and a $360 target. JP Morgan expects 18% fewer iPhones at 20% higher prices. In my opinion, that is a trap for the future, and bank forecasts deserve skepticism.
Apple hit a record 22% smartphone share while the market fell 20%. But it shipped fewer iPhones. I did the memory math on the iPhone 18 Pro, and in my opinion the real winners are the memory makers and AI.
NHTSA opened a petition claiming Tesla Robotaxis speed through school zones. Nobody sits behind the wheel, so Tesla decided the speed. A driver gets a fine and points right away. Why not Tesla?
Apple reportedly raised iPhone Duo orders by 30% before pre-orders even open. Real demand, a bet, or more hype? My take on the supply chain news, the stock game and scalpers.
iPhone Air 2 reportedly gets a second camera, the A20 Pro chip and a bigger battery in spring 2027. Everyone calls the first Air a flop. I wait for the second one, and it could replace my iPhone 17 Pro.
Apple HomeView is the name of Apple's home hub, with an A18 chip and a November release. But if it really has no App Store, I will not buy it. Plus: HomePod mini 2 with Wi-Fi 7 and Siri AI.
Apple Fifth Avenue will have 150+ iPhone Duo demo units and phones without tethers. A wow effect, but in my opinion it also shows Apple may be worried about sales.
Bloomberg says the new iPad mini with OLED will cost closer to $799, $200 more and above the iPad Air. My advice: buy today's iPad mini now, or get the iPad Air.
Trump wants "Super Intelligence" instead of AI, and Microsoft's Nadella follows while attacking OpenAI and Anthropic. In my opinion, it is absurd. AI stays AI.
Amazon's Alexa Tablets start at $229.99 with Android and Alexa+. 9to5Mac calls them iPad competition. In my opinion, even the cheapest iPad is the better buy.
Apple plans an M7 MacBook Pro with the new design for spring 2027. In my opinion, three MacBook Pros in one year is chaos, and last year's M4 is the smart buy.
